Spontaneously I went down on a trip to DisneyWorld. My Colorado parents were going down there with my younger brother, so after work I decided it was worth it to be with them. I forgot how tiring 11 hours in a car is after a full 12 hour day of work.
Disney World is awesome, and scary though. So much obesity, I was blown away by just the size of everyone moving around. So many scooters too, and so many people that just looked trashy. I felt like I was at a county fair or something, there were only a handful of attractive ladies. Definitely not the classy place I thought it was.
And Disney? Wow, as a company, just wow. Pretty much entirely self contained, strong IP's and powerful marketing. It's one helluva company that does a lot of things right. I could see myself working for Disney one day. I wonder though what their low level employee turnover rate is. Pretending to be that happy would crack a lot of people.
Anyone know if Disney has any offices in Atlanta? I drove during the non-traffic time through Atlanta and practically fell in love with it. The people there know how to drive, and the response for accidents seems quick. I mean I was going 80 in a 55 and I was still getting passed. Amazing, it was so much fun to really just get out there and drive. People also used turn signals, so much love for Atlanta right now. Stale must love to have a Charger for that roadway system.

See, I've heard horror stories about Atlanta driving, but mostly the speed
considering i'm happy driving fast, and i do use my goddamn turn signal, this seems nice
i hate driving in st louis because people that use turn signals get cut off, i fucking hate it
you have to sneak up on that open spot of road

No fucking shit, god I hate people in TN. I will have my blinker on, for like 3 seconds, then merge, and I get honked at cause I am cutting in to close.
Look, my blinker is on, be courteous and give me some room, otherwise I will take it even if that means I am inches behind the person in front of me and inches ahead of the person behind me.

some of us work for a living
or at least we sit at our desks of a weekday and try to look busy.
My father went into the hospital the day my spring break started and was diagnosed with lung cancer so my spring break was pretty crappy. On the other hand my bf and I also landed our perfect apartment and got approved so it was also pretty good. I hovered at a neurotic neutral for most of the past week. Before the chaos I was contemplating flying out to stay with a friend in San Diego for a few days.

I withdrew from school a few weeks before spring break. Obviously I am having the most superior spring break ever.

Spring Break is but a distant memory to me
I will be being held hostage in the Georgia Dome for most of the time I'm there, but that would be hells of awesome
but really that doesn't make it much different from the rest of the year.
