Make sure you talk and "turn on" everything.

I can only get 21 so apparently I suck at this.

    Man, I'm pretty awful at this. I got 12 jokes, and can't figure out what to do with
    the odd artifact that looks suspiciously like a chicken minus its head.

    The newspaper with half the joke on a sticky-note in my inventory. Looking at it doesn't appear to add it to the total jokes though

    You can activate the "use" command to combine items.

    Like, "Use X with Y", being 3 clicks.
