Dawn of War 2 is the newest RTS set in the grimdark future of the 41st millennium by Relic. Described as taking the best parts of the original DoW combined with Company of Heroes, this game places an emphasis on quick action over memorizing build orders and perfecting your pixel clicking. And by that I mean that there is no base building.
The game has two distinct portions, with the single player campaign being a completely different beastie from the multiplayer. The single player campaign is for the SM only (though campaigns for other races seems like an obvious DLC money maker *hint hint*). It's a persistent rpg like squad based tactical game with emphasis on building up and using a handfull of squads for the whole campaign. In the multiplayer portion of the game you can choose from Eldar (worthless), Orks (balanced), Space Marines (slightly overpowered), and Tyranids (weakest army in the game except for all of their units which are completely overpowered).
Space Marines
"We ballin', dawg. For the emperor."
Space marines have tactical marines, thunder hammers, and force commanders with banners. They are completely overpowered.
Orks
"Some stupid cockney accent."
They rely on large numbers to be completely unstoppable in t1, whine about how their decent t2, then come out with the best tank in the game in t3 along with the best non-global call-in melee unit in the game. Ridiculously overpowered unless Sonelan/Cakemikz is playing them because he's terrible at the game and always will be.
Eldar
"You would not believe what we have seen with our eyes."
Fragile and low damaging units make up the army. Only global call-in seer council stand to make this army anywhere near decent. They fail. Canis says they are good, but he's a furry and thinks IG are balanced. (IG are not in the game.)
Tyranids
"Look at those 15 [strike]warriors[/strike] carnifexes [strike]pop out of that ravener hole[/strike] walk at you without dying because they have insane regeneration and the zoanthorpes stunned your tanks for only 12 seconds. Also spore mines. Also ripper swarms. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha"

I've never had a problem against an early bubble warlock. An early bubble warlock means he didn't go immolate and that makes me happy as an ork/eldar player.
Probably a small mistake someone made that's taken them at least a month to fix.
I will find a use for rangers.
Suppression on the move - I use rangers all the time. Great vs bubbleboys, which is about ..... 80% of all opponents? Actually great vs all commanders except HT, but bubbleboys are more fun to see them crawl around while you ignore them and take out the scouts/marines. ASM can be annoying as they're quite resistant to suppression, which is another reason why one would pick the merciless witchblade instead of immolator.
