Dang, I didn't know Disney's Rave had Night of Fire.

A nine footer, no less. They actually gave it difficult steps.

Huh. Didn't know a new Leisure Suit Larry was coming out.

Anyone know anything about this? I'm curious as to whether it will suck, blow, or suck AND blow. And not in the good way.

I actually had thought this was cancelled a few months back, but apparently Gamestop is selling it for $19.99.

That's right, a brand new Xbox 360 game for under twenty bucks.

I'm pretty sure that means it sucks, blows, bites, and is ass.

And again, none of these in the good way.

Anyone got The Dishwasher yet? Might have to buy that when I get in from work.

IGN gave it a score in the 7 range and said they weren't all that impressed with the finished product. Huh.

The fact that the IGN review had this comment: "The hacking and slashing includes the need to constantly roll-dodge to avoid damage" and didn't mention the fact that you can teleport makes me wonder just how much time the reviewer actually put into the game.

Teleporting is something you do with a specific weapon?

Problem with the Dishwasher is that all the Achievements have random odd point scores.

I'm too OCD to have any more games that leave my score hanging on a random number. Anything other than a multiple of five or ten makes me twitch.

Shame, if scoring the whole 200 is easy enough I'll prolly pick it up, though IGN's comments about the guitar element are disappointing.

What's wrong with the guitar stuff?

As for achievements, I'm really not fussed by them. It's nice when they pop up, but I'm not gonna stress over how easy or hard they are.

Judging from the demo, The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is basically 2D Devil May Cry (complete with the real time weapon switching & the high difficulty level) for a mere $10. If the rest of the game lives up to the demo, it's easily the best brawler to come out on any system in a long time.

The game actually made me giggle when I accidentally activated John Woo mode. And when you manage to string together an awesome series of attacks, you feel like a god.

EDIT: The Dishwasher has one of the greatest achievements ever:

The Peter Moore Achievement - Pay homage to one of our generation's greatest rock performances ever.
