'm trying to burn non DVD formate videos on to a DVD+R useing Nero vision. When it starts to burn the disc ... it just freezes. I got the DVDs from a friend and they look really cheap (not sure if that matters) Is there only a servant typ of dvd's you can use when burring that kind of formate? Thanks for any help!!
What im trying to do is. Take videos I have on my computer that are windows video files and avi ect. and burn them on a DVD disc to play in my DVD player. Maybe this is not possible at all.. i dunno
I don't know how fast Nero is, or what the quality output is like, but when I'm converting an AVI file to DVD-format files, I use some programs designed specifically for the job and converting even a full-hour TV show can take all night. So I'm thinking there's a good chance Nero isn't stalled, it's just converting the file.
I'm not sure if its just my computer but I uninstalled Nero, got the newest version and tryed that and it still would not work. So i goggled up some random program convertxtdvd and it worked really well. Its very small too ( really worth using) Thanks for the info peeps ^ ^; Much appreciated

At night, the ice weasels come."
Yeah. And then just 'make a data cd' and drag over your video files
I didn't know DVD players could play videos made like that...
At night, the ice weasels come."
edit: in that case,
i've used Vision to make DVD's before, even out of .mov files as well as .avi and .mpegs. So yes, what you're doing is very possible.
