I've never heard these terms before, so I ask you native english speakers. If you have a BA that makes you an under graduate student or is that an M.A.?
This thread's power level is over 9,000. The previous thread was around a power level of 3.
Still pissed off about it, huh?

my teacher for one of my favorite classes sent out a doc on how best to research for our final in the class - a painting of us in costume and environment for our favorite movie/game/comic

If you are working towards a bachelor's, you are an undergrad. If you have a bachelor's and are working toward a master's you are a graduate student.

No holiday or sick pay, though you usually get a higher hourly rate to compensate. However the major downside is you have no set hours, so you can only work however much they allow you. It's basically a pre-cursor to getting shit-canned, or having your hours cut so badly it barely even qualifies as a job.
yeah- being casual sucks. I have 2 casual jobs and have occasional contract work ontop of those yet some weeks I only get like 10 hours work or less. Its crap. I really want a 9-5 job.. or better yet like a 10-6 or 11-7. That way you'd miss the peak hour traffic and get to sleep in YAY
I can't get over the idea that saying "I'll contact you in one week to set up an interview" is way too fucking forward on a cover letter. I mean, it's recommended all over the place, so I'm sure it's fine, but.....augh.

Dude I would say that seems a bit extreme to. Your better off sending in your resume I feel as you would normally telling them you are happy to come into an interview if they want to know more about you etc.
Then ring them up a few days after you send them your resume and be like.. yeah I am just ringing to double check my resume got there and to ask a few things about the available position. Sound interested, do your research on the company and ask good questions so they know your KeeeEEEn for monayzz lol

BA is the lesser of the two, so I would assume that's an undergraduate - though really I have no clue, as I dropped out of college, hoho!
