It's a subscription-based service. $15 a month for 1 credit, which is generally 1 book (some books are 2). I'm not sure of they work in Canada, but there are quite a few promotions around for a free trial with 1 credit. They advertise on a lot of podcasts. I've used Audible for a while and it's quite good. It's owned by Amazon so they habe a lot of pull to get new books.
LibriVox is free like beer and speech. I like that sort of thing. Quality is inconsistent, and it's only stuff in the public domain so it's slightly limited.
