The preview makes it look like Crackdown got in bed with a horror novelist and they made a 3rd person slasher with no sandbox to play in.

I think it's a generic 3rd person RTS with a glaive. I don't see how Crackdown factors in to it.

I just got a whole dude-with-developing-superpowers vibe off it. And the guy kind of looks like the character you play in Crackdown.

You should be able to. The % may reset, so if you stoped at 37% it will go back down to 0%, however you still have that 37% files, and dont need to re download them. The last time I installed tf2, I had to reset the computer, due to windows updates being fussy and wanting to resart, but I was able to finish the downloading afterwards without anything happening.

My limited experience with DCotE is either meandering through a foggy town with a vague sense of dread, or running frantically through environments to get away from horrible horrible things.

    Or cowering in the shadows.

I stopped playing it because it made me feel unpleasant. Which, come to think of it, was what I did with Penumbra too. So, tentative yes?

B'wah? Mass Effect has been $19.99 US on Steam for ages. I paid $27 for it during the December sale, and then it dropped to $20 like 2 weeks later.

Unless you're talking about Canadian dollars (in which case it'd still only be like $26 Can), I'm confused how you overpaid for ME.

What the hell is the difference between Oblivion GOTY Edition and GOTY Editon Deluxe? I thought the GOTY edition already had the Knights of the Nine and all the DLC, which the Deluxe version lists as being in it.

The Deluxe version apparently has the DLC (which is free) already included.

But since the package deal that has the Oblivion Deluxe and Morrowind GOTY in it costs teh same as the package deal that has the Oblivion non-Deluxe and Morrowind GOTY...

I mean like the horse armor stuff. When I compared the deluxe to the non-deluxe, the non-deluxe had Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine but not the horse armor and other misc. stuff, while the deluxe had the misc. stuff.

Nope, just the DLC. The Deluxe has everything. The GotY only has the shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine.

Ugh, trying customize oblivion and I keep getting errors from Darnified UI.

I played through some of the DLC and it seems kind of sloppy the way they put it in. I do no remember seeing this in Morrowind. How well does the DLC insert itself into F3?

I own Oblivion on the 360 and was really into it for a while, until I learned about the enemy level scaling, and then my interest just dropped off. But I think I may enjoy it on the PC, since the controls will be better, and I know about the scaling going in...and $25 for both Oblivion and Morrowind is a very good deal.

    Decisions.
