Playstation 3 Error Code (80120004)

Hey guys, have a little problem with my ps3.
A few days ago i booted up grand theft auto 4, and it told me the data was corrupted, also stating 'Error Code 80120004'.
I continued anyway, and eventually it loaded.
Day later, it couldnt load the game at all. So, i cleared all the game files (:x:x:x) and un-installed the game. After that, i re-installed it, and booted up the game. Started a new file, all was good. Today, i booted it up again, and the same error code game up. I have no idea whats going on. I lost the reciept for my system, so cant really take it back to the re-tailer.
also, i checked my other games (MGS4, RES Evil 5) and they all run fine.
Anyone encountered this problem before? If so, what did you do about it.
Any advice would be cool. Cheers.
EDIT: Now its worse, i cant even delete the files. it comes up with the error code again.
