Don't? Just make a jumpclone, and kill THAT one. Save the +5s for training if you go afkfor a few days... it's not like your lifeless body will float out of station.

lol yeah no shit. i forget things at 4am.

i was hoping no one would say anything until he did it

meh, given the skill of most of the people who play eoh poker it wouldn't take me too long to get the isk back.

Install a jumpclone in any station where you do have standings (starting system works I think?), then fly to the system where you actually want your jumpclone to be - I had mine at one of the School stations for picking up new skills easy - then clone jump to the one you installed earlier.

This leaves a jumpclone with your +5 implants in the station you jumped from, whether you had the required standings or not, and you'll now be in a body without implants. Set your main clone to a merchi system and pod yourself.

Et voila, you're now in merchi space, with an intact +5's jumpclone in a nice safe empire station.

If you do everything up to the podding yourself before you join the corp then you don't have to worry about getting caught by an empire wardec either.

The long way to go about saving them would be to grab a stabbed up inty / fast frigate (w/ cloak), fly down to the nearest Goon station, create your JC and all that, then fly the implant clone back to empire.

It would take a lot of :effort:, but I'm space poor and hate losing things like that.

There is corps / alliances that offer JC services on the evo boards. Use one to get your +5 safely tucked away in empire.

You know, when I started playing EvE years ago, I saw the 'spreadsheet pilots' and decided fuck that noise. I wanted to shoot things, and economy be damned. I learned the ways of 0.0 and decided I'd rat my way up. I never even looked at production or mining after moving to 0.0.

Last night, i needed Torrent Assault Missiles, but none were for sale. I also was hitting the 'random' button on the GoonWiki. and up popped Basic production.

There was a Torent Assault Missile BPO one jump away. I had just melted some junk to sell.

    Providence.

So, I now have 20,000 missile in production. I can't build more than one thing at a time yet, but this feels like a dirty, dirty pleasure. Why am I having fun by doing work? Perhaps I understand all your people who put the 'I' into MerchI.

Does anyone have good reccomendations for a good corp for a 52 Mil SP Amarr Specced player?

Right now I am in the privateers and they allow me to do whatever the hell I want, but the organization in that corp is severally lacking.

What I am looking for is a corp with

    1. A LOT of pew pew
    2. good leadership
    3. 0.0 or low sec (im not picky when it come to this)
    4. good logistics
    5. incentives i.e. ship reinbursement, Ships at cost/+10%
    6. Laid back, last thing I need is a corp freaking out because I dont log in everyday. I have a wife and kid, job, and I commute 2 hours a day. I dont always have time to play.

    What I can offer:

    1. Experence, i have been playing for several years and i know my way around EVE.
    2. Self sufficient
    3. Can fly Amarr, Mimmatar and Gallante T2 ships, all T2 fitted.
    4. Fimilar with 0.0 fleet warfare, roving gangs, and high sec warfare.
    5. mature but fun playstyle.

Normally I would post something like this in the EVE-O forums but EVE-O has become a troll fest and I rarely log in there anymore.

    Seriously, WTF?

If I was a spy I would try and infiltrate the corp I wanted to spy in, not say hey I am looking for a good corp.

There are MUCH easier ways to infiltrate a corp rather than posting on PA Forums.

    Troll

    Serious bidness time.

EvE is a game with an outstanding meta. People infiltrate and destroy corporations with regularity. Corps that are for community members generally have a very simple requirement. Be a community member. Merch Industrial does not accept applications really, you either have to be a community member, or be good friends with a community member.

You strolled in here on your high horse, and then bitched when we called you a spy. You obviously don't know the EvE meta. I hope you didn't pay too much for your character. Go try an empire corp, they'll totally stroke your ego and buy your bullshit.

0.0 corps generally don't need a character with 52million sp as much as they need someone they can trust.

edit: and I know you came in here asking for a 'good corp' recommendation, but it should be pretty clear anyone who posts he is either a goon or a Merch. No we don't know any other good corps, we are the good corps.

First off, I didnt ask to be in Merch Industrial, I just asked if anyone knew of a good corp.

Second, you community member holds no water. People join corps ALL the time without posting on the EVE-O/PA-Forums.

Thrid, it's up to each and every corp to do thier research on the players they recruit. My corp record stands for itself. I have never stolen and/or spied on a corp and recruitng corps would be able to find out that info with very little research. i leave that to people with more time than I have.

fourth, I dont know how you took my post as me strolling in on my high horse. I mearly posted what I was looking for in a corp and what I could offer, thats it.

Fifth, I didnt bitch about being called a spy, i just called you paranoid and a troll (which you are)

sixth, You are the one that needs to get off his high horse, calm down your paranora and just realise that I was just looking for reccomendations on corps.

seventh, I have been playing eve for a long time so such your pie hole about me buying my character. I have never bought any characters/ISK EVER.

Uh, gee, maybe if you did just a little research (aka one search on corps in game), you'd know. In fact, you don't even have to do that. There is a thread in the main G&T that, if you would have bothered at all to look, makes it pretty clear P-A is with Goonswarm.

    ect...

    I'll bite.

With that many sp and the experience in a wide range of fields you claim to have, you should know how most corps in eve are.

You're list of "what I'm looking for" is very pie in the sky. 1-5 can be found in any number of 0.0 "pvp focused" alliances (or so they claim). You first have your choice of Sov holding groups that roam around and cause havoc, namely Pandemic Legion. Next you go to the "live out of npc 0.0" alliances such as Triumvirate, Cult of War, or any number of mostly irrelevant parties like that.

Number 6 is a bit of a deal breaker though. All the best corps with a highly regulated structure and efficient organization demand participation and a "serious business" view on the game.

My best recommendation would be to look into CVA. You're already Amarr spec which is a plus to them, Providence always has pirates and people roaming around looking for ganks, and CVA space is highly Sov 4'd and organized. Hope you don't mind roleplayers though.

Goonswarm and Merch would fit your list, but you know there's that whole spy thing, and I doubt anyone else is inclined at this juncture to be supportive.

Man, that was hilarious. 52 million skill points, a plethora of experience, and you don't even read the bloody OP? Epic.

    Anyway.

Guys, I want to do wulfpax while my things are building. I'm scared to death about taking my rigged-up Hound for a spin before getting some experience; I've barely had any small-level pvp time. I'm fairly close to being able to fly a Scimitar - about a week, really. And it's en-route to getting command ships, my ultimate goal. Would it be smart to get a Scimitar (somehow) and tag along with a PVP group?
Seems to me that they are:
    -Very handy for allies
    -A bitch to kill
-Not primaried as they don't directly affect the battle

Does this seem like a good idea?

    *edit* Skills. <-info here.
