I'm currently selling a rather obscure flash on kijiji.ca and have been made an offer by a fellow in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - one province away. His email address is from an ISP local to Saskatoon and a fellow by his name does work for the city of Saskatoon. However, I'm still wary.
He has offered to pay by certified cheque or money order. I am wondering if there is any way I could be scammed if I had him send a Canada Post money order which I will cash at the post office first (so it would immediately be deemed good/fraudulent) before sending the item off? I'm thinking not, but I'd like to double check with you guys first.
Back before I did buisiness through credit cards / PayPal, I used money orders - they're pretty much infallible, as they have to be purchased with cold, hard cash ... so you shouldn't have any worries, I think.
