All the West teams look vicious, holy crap. I'll be playing a bit more to warm up for the tourney, but expect me to ask about sentry placements a lot on the newer maps.
Sorry Soal, You didn't mess it up, but you said you couldn't do saturday, and I already had scruple saying he cant do saturday, I didn't want too many people not being able to make the final.. you are a reserve though, which means you will almost defiantly get to play since there's always someone who doesn't turn up.
i'm excited for this tourny. all you east 3'ers join the group! i think i invited everyone except for renegade aka papa bear, who i cant seem to find on steam...
It'll be interesting to see what weapons everyone rolls with. I consider the Scout's primary role outside of CTF to be Medic-stomping, so I'll be using the default loadout. I'd expect more Natascha Heavies than Sasha Heavies. Maybe there will be some Kritzkriegs! Wouldn't that be fun?

We need to have our spy stab people, our sniper shoot people in the head, and have our medic use ubers on our best classes then we should win. Shhhhh.... Dont tell the other teams. :winky:
I should emphasis to you all, considering some of you haven't played an organized competitive match before, that Highlander isn't like a normal game of TF2.
There is a lot more emphasis on the class you are playing, all the strengths and weaknesses shine out a whole lot more, and above all there is only one of you on each team. So if your medic goes down, thats it, You have no medic.
The same goes for all the other classes as well, soldier and demo are dead? I suggest you don't push, even if you do have a pyro and heavy there with a ready uber.
Communication is vital as you can keep track of what classes are operating against you and which ones are mia.
At the end of the day survival is key, for this reason I doubt you will see much kritz action.
I know its not in stone, but seeing my name with sniper marked off...so bad.
I'd prefer to play Soldier, Pyro, or Engy. Medic if absolutely necessary. Get in touch with me, teammates.
This was a concious decision by me because I needed a sniper and you were the player left over to be assigned, so I decided to put you in there else id have had to shuffle all the teams around again

Edit: In the last tournament me and Ginsoakedboy too it in turns to play pyro because we both wanted to play it, maybe your team could do a similar thing for you?
I totally understand. I think I've clocked forty hours with the Sniper, yet I still get way more points with the greasegun and khukri than I do with the sniper rifle.
On a good day, I might get a headshot. Against a stationary target. If the planets align and I have committed the requisite ritual sacrifice.

I get to play spy. I've been wanting to play spy in a srs bsn highlander match since one of the earlier SotQ matches.
Oh hay it's Lustre and Roland, this brings back memories. Good memories. Not the bad ones. Okay some of the bad ones, but mostly the good ones.
