Oblivion Problem- XB360

So, since I bought a couple of XBL points cards the other day, I figured I'd pick up some DLC for Oblivion. The only problem is it won't fucking download. I tried to get the four lairs and Knights of the Nine- but only the thief and assassin lairs would download- the Wizard's Tower and the Fighter's Stronghold wouldn't download. Thankfully, Knights of the Nine did download, so I've been playing that, but...

...is there some kind of thing you have to accomplish to open up the Orrery/Wizard's Tower/Fighter's Stronghold for download?

Do you have enough free space on the HDD?

Yeah, I have 96.7 GB left on my HD.

I did some nosing around, and it looks like I'm not the only one having this problem- lots of people haven't been able to get the same DLC for a week or two now.

Did they actually take money for your purchases? Try to redownload them using the Download History. Maybe clear the HDD cache. If others have had this problem, see if they offer any suggestions and try those. You may need to call MS Support or something.

When you say they won't download, what is happening, specifically? What are the steps you're taking to buy them?

I'm trying to download them off Live Arcade. I don't know how to clear the cache, but I don't think this is just something affecting only me anymore. I took a glance around the internet, and apparently people are having the same trouble I was with the exact same DLC. Might be something on MS's side.

This is the code to clear the HDD cache. Using it will remove all title updates (patches) but will not affect anything saved to the HDD itself. Sometimes clearing the cache will help, though probably not with what's going on right here.

And when I asked how you were purchasing, I was asking if you were buying through the marketplace or if the game itself had an in-game 'store'. Have you tried using the online marketplace through Xbox website? You can queue things online and when you boot the system, they'll start downloading automatically. Though you're likely correct and that there is a problem on MS's end and you may need to contact them directly.
