Pinball games on the Wii?

So, my parents are thinking of getting a Wii, they love it when I visit home with mine, and they have now decided they might get one too.

My Dad asked if there was any pinball games on the Wii, he loves pinball games, but they aren't really my thing.

Are there any good pinball games on the Wii, either retail VC or Wiiware.

Cheers.

There is a well-reviewed collection of classic Williams tables on retail disc:

    http://www.amazon.com/Pinball-Hall-Fame-Collection-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B000QJLQCQ/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1239454280&sr=8-1

That's probably exactly what he would want.

Also, not sure if it would be his thing, but VC has the "Crush" games for TG-16. I think there's even an updated WiiWare version of Alien Crush.

Williams Pinball something something is pretty good.

The VC has a bunch too, but I can't be arsed to remember them all. Alien Crush mayhaps?

There is someone who posts on these boards who loves pinball, it just ain't me.

But I'm sure there is at least once great pinball collection on the Wii. I think it is the Williams Collection or somesuch.

I like the Williams Pinball collection, and I don't really even play pinball.

As retail releases, there is very excellent Williams Pinball Classics that is already mentioned. But as you are in the Europe, there is also Gottlieb Pinball Classics. While tables aren't so interesting as in Williams Collection and camera could have some re-working, it is very solid Pinball game that can be found for 10 pounds or less. Williams Pinball Classics doesn't have PAL-release currently, but 505 Games is going to have one during the spring.

On the VC-side, there is both Demon's Crush and Alien Crush, both solid pinball games. WiiWare side features Alien Crush Returns which I can't comment on.

There's another pinball game for the Wii: Dream Pinball 3d.

DO NOT BUY IT. The physics don't exist, the camera is wonky...hell even the disc for the thing stank. (not kidding.) "Shovelware" doesn't cover it.

They did an excellent job emulating the tables in that one. ALMOST feels like the real thing.

Thanks guys. I know what to look for now.

I just thought, they also have a PS3. Any pinball games on that?

There is Williams Pinball Classic port coming up, but I don't know the release date or what has been changed.

There's a few VC and WiiWare pinball games I think.

Alien Crush and Devil Crush, for the TG16, both considered semi classic.

The WiiWare has Alien Crush Returns. Which is supposed to be pretty good as an update to the classic Alien Crush Pinball game.

The world needs another game like that to be made.

Edit: Okay, I want to play Alien Crush Returns now. How many points is it?

Yeah, I reviewed it and PHoF:WC concurrently (that's right, I achieved multiball while reviewing). DP3D didn't stand a fucking chance.

Devil's Crush is my favorite of the old Crush games. I haven't had the chance to try the new Alien Crush remake yet.

In general, I would happily buy more virtual collections of old pinball tables. Pinball still has a great addictive quality for me.

Supposedly both Pinball Collections have been some kind of successes, so we can except more of them in the future. I wouldn't be surprised if next one covers Bally-Midway. It is just shame that they can't use licensed tables.
