So after another week, what are your thoughts on this game? After I posted the 30 dollar deal for this and Afrika here last night, Afrika ended up being sold out, so now I'm tempted not to hold back, but the Simon stuff kind of worries me that it won't be as exploration focused. I'm really tempted to pull the trigger on this now, but i'm just not completely sure.

Edit: Damn it. It sold out within the past half hour. :( And not only is it listed as out of stock, it's listed as out of print/out of stock.

Sucks Aoi, well, I managed to complete the game, but then discovered that afterwards you can continue to explore, and there's a lot more to the game.

Now to talk about the game itself...the story is WEIRD, I mean, I was left wondering what the hell happened by the end of it all. I'm not sure how I feel afterwards, but the exploring/travelling around is still something I'll do for quite some time yet. I'll never sell it, it's just to peaceful and soothing. I'll not lie to you though...WEIRD story...not at first so much, but by the end...so WEIRD.

I still recommend it as a diversion, absolutely, it's gorgeous graphically and sound-wise.

Maybe if it ever comes down in price on Ebay, or I see it used somewhere I'll grab it. The one I really wanted though was Hakuna Matata/Afrika. Got that one, so I'm happy.

Man, I'm days late to this, but heck, even I've found the singing fish under the water...
    Et is much hotter
Kay, it's a lobster, not a fish. I feel bad. I really do.

I ordered this game based on this thread. The relaxing exploring of the Atoll is a good way to pass a lazy evening. Also, I'm having fun tracking down the singing fish, takes a little bit of patience and working out where the sound is coming from.

still wonder how the screenshots the game takes manage to kill so much of the quality

I still really want this game. I'm off on holiday in 12 hours and intend to keep some of my spending money to get this and afrika on my return :)
