I went to Amoeba today.
It's pretty much the best record store ever.
I picked up some great stuff:
I love the band and the title.
I Had to get it once I figured out what it was.
I Didn't know it existed but once I did buying it was self explanatory.
and my sweet little setup
I have some other stuff I'll post later but my collection is still really small since I just got the player.
Lets talk about vinyls. What's cool, whats hard to find. What we wished we had.

Yow. I would have been tempted to pick them up, either way. After this last move, my left speaker has been kicking out at random moments for some reason, and I can't pinpoint the problem. I thought I'd fixed it, but it's doing it again now because it hates me.
You can never have enough Bob Dylan vinyl, but I am officially most covetous of the Repo Man soundtrack, because I just watched that movie two nights ago.

I need a real receiver, though, the little 30 watt my old roomate left here just doesn't work as well as it ought to any more but fuck me stereo receivers in the wattage and resistances these things take are expensive and harde to find and I haven't had time to deal with it. The vast majority of the stuff that is sold in with the appropriate power behind it these days comes in 5 or 7.1 channels, which is not what I need at all.
I'm pretty sure they just asked Iggy Pop to put it together.
