Burst a blood vessel in my eye..

So I got really drunk Friday and threw up and my best guess is I threw up so hard that some blood vessels in my eye burst.

My left one isn't bad but the right one is very noticeable. It also looks like its spreading. D:

I want to know how long it takes for them to heal and if I can do anything to speed it up.

Takes about two weeks to heal. Are you taking anything that may be thinning the blood? Garlic? Aspirin?

    No. It doesn't hurt.

It's just annoying with it red and shit while working a job that involves a lot of eye contact.

Damn two weeks. Oh well. Maybe I can milk it haha.

Haha, the exact same thing happened to me last fall at a friend's cottage. I normally don't drink until I puke, but I just overdid it.

It didn't hurt for me either and took 1-2 weeks to heal. I actually enjoyed how much it creeped people out.

Haha. I should be all "Kali Ma" and try to rip out their heart.

Hey exmello did it spread for you too?

If by spread you meant it just looked really red all over but then all drained to the bottom half of my eye and got darker, then yes.

It started near the bottom but has been coming near the iris.

    Weird looking.

I did the exact same thing a year or two ago (too much Bacardi). It will take a while to heal (several weeks for mine). There's nothing you can do to fix it and it poses no risk to your health. Enjoy the freaky look while it lasts.

This happened a friend of mine back in highschool and his whole left eye was blood red.

He went around trying to convince people he was a terminator sent from the future to find John Connor.

But yeah, after a few weeks it just cleared up. It was weird as hell, no question about that, but I don't think he had to do anything special to get it worked out.

Ha, that happened to my highschool girlfriend on prom night. It was pretty awkward taking her home the next morning when her father opened the door. Anyway it'll clear up within a couple weeks on its own, no biggie.

And she didn't even vomit. :winky: Hi5!

No really, I actually wish the eye things lasted longer, it was kind of fun. The worst it got was feeling a little itchy.
