Pokemon is one of those games that has always intrigued and tempted me... Right up until I remember you have to have thirty versions of the same godsdamn game in order to "catch them all". I'm a completionist and this game would drive me right the hell insane.
Plus Nintendo has some unexplainable aversion to using their infinite supply of money to pour some production value into their games. Especially one so important to their company as Pokemon. Make a "Pokemon Final" version (for the pc since we are entertaining fantasy) and I'm in.
I haven't bought Platinum. And if my budget keeps going like this I may not get it.
I'm not mad because people here can help me with the really awesome stuff in Pt.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: the improvement's only slight if you don't play competitively. You won't see ANYTHING if you don't care about going online.
Catching Mewtwo at 100% hp with a Sableye is an interesting experience to say the least. I think thats the first time I've ever seen any pokemon use struggle.
Finally palparked my Togetic with hustle/tri-attack, evolving it into Togekiss turned it into Serene Grace. Shame the IVs/Nature stink but at least all the worrying is over.

I don't need to get rid of them. I just wanted to let people know that I have lots and can give several of them away. I could just as well just delete them without giving them to anybody.
Is it possible for me to take my male Vaporeon and breed it with a Ditto in order to get an Eevee, or do I need to trade for a female Eevee from someone to get the cycle started?

You've never needed more then one version. The multiple versions are for trading, and the third version is a "special edition" sort of thing.
You just need someone to trade with. And with online trading this is easier then ever.
I don't believe it's been used since Gold and Silver.

apparently it has HP fire 60... opinions? Is speed important for a cresselia? is HP fire any useful?
HP and Defenses are its strong points, that thing looks just about perfect I'd say.

Dittos in Pt are in the Trophy Garden I think.
There is no better way to say 'Fuck You' to a Latias than killing it with repeated u-turns while it can't recover or reflect due to taunt.
Also that cresselia is as close to perfect as you're likely to get.
