Why would you want a Specs Machamp anyway? His SPATK is awful. I guess you might be able to get one good surprise kill in with him, but that's about it.
With the Specs it could go up to 375 SpAtk which is pretty decent I think.
But its not a serious idea, just a funny novelty thing. Being able to throw around Focus Blasts with no concerns about accuracy would be nice. It also learns Fire Blast.
Edit: Does anyone have a Female Snorlax they could give me?
Could of sworn I had one, but I can't find it.
I can breed you one if you can either get me an impish Ditto or an impish Synchronizer.
I seem to be missing some items like the Reaper Cloth and Dubious Disc. I have an Impish Ditto you can borrow for either. I don't feel like cloning right now since it's a very annoying process.
I could probably provide a Snorlax for Ink as well.
Is Dubious Disc the Porygon-2 item or the Porygon-Z item? If it's the Porygon-z one you can have mine, if it's the Porygon-2 one I want to hold onto it, because I want to eventually make both a Z and a 2, and I only have 2 sets of trade items. Or, if it's the 2 item, you can have it as long as you clone me a copy of it and give it to me.
Pretty sure Up-Grade is the Porygon2 item, while Dubious Disc is the Porygon-Z item. I'd prefer to have an extra Up-Grade myself, just so that I can have more than a single Porygon2 and Porygon-Z. I think making a few of the evolutionary items (like those, the Reaper Cloth, and the Protector) being pretty much one item per game is just stupid. Not everyone wants to end up with a bad moveset on their single Dusknoir or the like.
I actually have a fairly good Impish Ditto, but Rockin should be able to help first.
I can't find where I wrote down the exact IVs, but my Impish ditto has a 30 or 31 in HP and a 29 in Def. The rest of its stats aren't massively awesome admittedly, but for a wall-breeder its alright.
I guess that's another task to do- re-record my Dittos so that I know their IVs exactly now.

That's good enough for me! Just lemme know when you have a chance to lend it.
I can lend it right now if you'd like. Comes with free Everstone, even (since I decided to be ultimately lazy and get enough Everstones so I wouldn't have to ever juggle them between Dittos).
Cool, just let me know whenever you're ready. And which of the two codes in your sig that I need to make sure I have (pretty sure I've still got your Diamond/Pearl one but not the Platinum one).
It was one of the Pokemon you had in your party! And actually looks pretty good. I may very well keep it. But I should give it a better nickname than the one I came up with on the spot.

Neato. It was a left over egg from when I was breeding, and it's just mixed in with all my other leftover eggs.
Considering that I've got over three boxes of eggs, I should probably start hatching them.
Yes. Well, the 8th will be the last day in which you can register. Then I can get the brackets set up and post all the info on Saturday, and then the first round begins on Sunday.
How much does a parents IV's matter when breeding?
It is actually kind of complicated. Something like 3 random from either parent are given to the baby. But Defense and HP only come from the mother. I should really look this up and get back to you with an exact answer.
edit: What I have found is that the mother passes an IV first, then the father, then one of the parents passes another. That's all I can find.

But, to bottom-line it, the short answer is "pretty important."
The short version is yeah, the parent's IVs do matter as they do pass them down to the baby Pokemon. But its totally random which IVs get passed down, and which ones get overwritten. And also the HP IV is especially annoying to get right.
The better the parent's IVs are, however, the better it is for whenever the IVs get passed along.
HP and Defense can be passed from either parent, but it is true that they are harder to breed in. The reason for this is that while three random IVs can be passed, the second cannot be HP and the third cannot be HP or Defense. One result of this is it's slightly easier to get randomly generated good Ivs in HP or Defense.
Which parent passes which IV in which order is completely random other than the above rule.
Guys, Smogon has invented the Weather Clause. Tyranitar, Abomasnow, Hippowdon (and Groudon/Kyogre in ubers) are banned along with weather-inducing moves. I think it's a bit extreme, but I'd rather ban Tyranitar than Pursuit.
Also, while looking for the specifics of the clause (although it was really obvious, I wanted to know if there was more), I found out that they made a new version of Netbattle called Supremacy. This is nice. For some reason I couldn't stand Shoddy, so maybe I will be able to use this comfortably for old times' sake.
I'd like to come out full force against Weather Clause. Sorry guys but its just nutty to go so crazy over that glitch that you ban all weather based teams. And that still won't actually stop that glitch from possibly occuring, since Trick Room, Gravity, and apparently even Uproar can also trigger the conditions.
I'd say its far more reasonable to just state what version of the game each person is using, and if both people are using Platinum (or whoever has Diamond/Pearl can't host), just be aware of the possibilities before the match begins.

Wow this thread is going by real fast.
I should probably give some sort of indication as to which code is which, but... nah.
Also I'm on now.
Actually hold on I might not have you added.

Wait a minute, Breed? I have a Snorlax, I can breed my own.
Ok, nevermind. I should learn to read.
So does anyone have a spare Female from one of their breeding projects?

Sorry chen, I got it handled. Thanks for the offer though.
