    that is bloody fantastic, gibs. the lighting in the background compliments it perfectly. i kind of wish there was a little bit of orange reflected onto the little guy but i can understand why there wouldn't be. i absolutely love his feets

    I think he's great. :-P I went to a Cthluhu festival on Lovecraft's birthday in Austin a couple years back, I would've totally bought it at their merchandise table. Instead, i bought a cute Cthluhu jesus fish for my car

    Hey gibs - nice to see you're still producing quality. My only ... critique? I guess would be that you got a little carried away with the folds right under the arm / root of the wing. I almost get a feeling like you felt like you needed to fill the space - which I think would have benefited from a harder shadow.

    I see what you're talking about and... I agree. It would look better- which isn't to say it doesn't look great now, but better is better :)

    The original image is just so sick. In a good way, of course. :D Even more impressive is that all the coloring is so linear. My stuff's soft shading for the most part so it's really cool to see someone do something on the opposite end of the spectrum (I don't count cell shades. >_>)

    I'm itchin' for a Deep One or an Old One.

    Some of these names really toe the line between "vague terror" and just boring.



    EDIT: Actually, to my surprise, I have another small crit. The position of Cthulhu's left arm seems off to me. It looks like his left shoulder is much further forward than it should be. It could just be me misinterpreting the perspective, but there it is.
