The Surrogates/Flesh and Bone

Has anyone ever read Robert Venditti's comic? I know a movie is coming out based on it in September, which I am for sure looking forward to but there's a comic prequel to it called Flesh and Bone coming out in July, which takes place 15 years beforehand. I'm pretty interested in giving that a read too because it'll give more background to the story.
