That being said, I'm getting the itch to finish off EP. I was overseas when I beat Innocent Sin, and I didn't have access to my copy until I got back stateside a few weeks later.
I was ready to fire it up as soon as I finished Innocent Sin, but now it's been sitting dormant for a few months, taunting me with its incomplete tale.
I'm placing my bets on a credits sequence that plays out like an action packed detective show credits sequence and it ends with Narumi and Raidou jumping out of an exploding building while giving each other a thumbs up. Cue a freeze frame and then the words "Special Thanks to" appear and your name is there.

I've always been unconfortable with naming protaginists after myself because no-one wants to hear about "Kate, saviour of the known universe and destroyer of Czernabog." It... doesn't flow.

That's why I never do.
Okay, I named P1's after myself, but that worked.
Like I knew there'd be an actual character named Chris later on.

Screw it, I'll go with the comedy option and name every main character "Pete Moss"
...Or "Pro Tagonist"

On February 24, 2009, Atlus U.S.A. announced that they were localizing the PSP remake featuring a completely redone localization and content never before seen in North America (along with the other changes in the Japanese PSP remake). This means that unlike the Playstation release, the PSP localization will stay as true to the Japanese origin of the game as possible.[11] It is unknown if the names of the characters will be converted to their previous North American localization names or if they retain their Japanese ones.
Because the last DS game was okay but the final boss fight rocked and I am expecting similar things for this one.
The story will be more interesting in some parts if you use your real name.
Some of the dialogue options you get actually revolve around the difference between "you" and "Raidou Kuzunoha." There's other stuff that makes it more interesting to use your actual name, but it's at least best not to call him "Raidou Kuzunoha" for that reason. He's supposed to have an other name.

You see, I always name protagonists after myself because when this happens I can just nod my head and go "awwwww yeah" in an unnaturally deep tone of voice.
If I need a last name and the setting is so out of this world-ish that it would never work (not SMT: Nocturne because that starts in a mostly normal world, but for games like Elder Scrolls) I usually just work on a small variation of my last name but keep "John" as the first name (or Mass Effect, where the last name is set and you just set the first name, which gave a pretty cool meaning as humanity's first space super-agent has a mix of John Glenn and Alan Shepard in his name).

I like to think of RPG protagonists as a character, so I try to give them their own personality.
I liked the P3 manga name, so I stuck with that. P4's sucked, so I came up with my own.
We need to find a new acronym for Devil Summoner because once Devil Survivor comes out it's going to be really confusing. It's already confusing to me when I'm discussing it with someone else and they even bought Dark Spire so that's yet another DS. There's DS, DS2, DS on DS, and DS on DS in those conversations and it's confusing as hell.
I want a new thread where that picture is mandatory for each post.
I'm now debating reposting this image on each new page of the thread on different image hosting services with different file names (to bypass potential block) just to annoy Glider.

Seems not, according to wiki.
Says the guy who is confused by high school lit class.
Your arguement failed.
Ring any bells? It would seem the only thing that failed is your comprehension.
Let's keep it that way.
Apparently you fail to see I simply can't be bothered with it.

No community is drama proof. There are varying levels of drama resistance, but there is no such thing as drama proof.
Every time I would look at it I would think
Well, we're pretty darn high on the resistance ladder. :P
I would strongly suggest putting your own name in for King Abaddon, even if you don't usually. There's a reason.
Do you have to use the Pray command to beat the final boss or something?
I would like to know the reason as well.
Give us a hint.
And spoil it.
Because the last DS game was okay but the final boss fight rocked and I am expecting similar things for this one.
spoiling it would be rude.

Well, it still ended in Iwakura, naturally.
SMT: DS2:RKvKA
If I were a woman, I'd do the same thing. Except break out into hysteric giggles every five minutes, it would make games SO much more fun.
Gender choice for Nocturne would be pretty cool though.
Like this, see?
Not that having gender choice again(see: SMT If) wouldn't be interesting.
I scrolled up on this picture from the bottom, said to myself "oh a picture of the Demi-Fie...WHA?!" :P
mmm, that ass will make the male demon negotiation easier.
