I'm now debating reposting this image on each new page of the thread on different image hosting services with different file names (to bypass potential block) just to annoy people with taste.
My opinion holds for Persona 3, but not Persona 4. Which is actually a little odd. I originally liked 3's main character design, and disliked 4's, but both opinions have slowly drifted to the far opposite of the spectrum. I think it's mostly from seeing their body language. Alki carries himself like a stud. And also that I can't stand any part of 3's outfits besides the headphones.
Ryoji, of course, is dumb in any and every capacity.
If P4 actually let you choose gender then that design is something that I actually wouldn't have minded. The top would need to be buttoned up of course but it's not overly fanservicey beyond the skirt length. As a man from the 1800's though I'm always appalled by skirt lengths these days. Basically all my opinions on fanservice are because I'm actually from 1847.

I started SMT by playing P3, then moved on to Nocturne. After getting my ass handed to me a couple of times this weekend in Nocturne (Trumpeter I think, could be Beelzebub, they all suck), I thought I'd make a start of P4 and wow, the art style really didn't work for me. The characters seemed really sort of stuck on top on the scenery and the wrong size. Am I alone in this? Was I high? Help me PA!
