the first half was a literal script of the book, with awkward exposition and dumb jokes thrown in

the only parts of it that were good were the parts lifted directly from the books, and sometimes even that was poorly done

I just read all 5 books currently out and I'm having trouble imagining this being a movie rather than two or three movies. Does anyone know who/what exactly is being cut out? I would guess a shit load of random events/dialog but still, it would be tough to have all the fights without it being 2 hours of straight up kung fu.

There's a list somewhere, but I forgot where it was. Basically, stuff like the Honest Ed's fight is cut because Honest Ed

I wonder if they'll be doing the moon stuff. I think Mr. Chau might also be in it, but I do wonder how they'll deal with the cartoony stuff like Scott's two "zooooooooooooom" runaways?

I also get a feeling the twins will be glossed over. They didn't really exposit much in their arc, and all they did was employ fancy robots that would cost money to CG render. Besides, we haven't heard who is playing them, so it's probably some nobodies.
