    but... but i like this one

    i know it isn't particularly hilarious, but something about this one rubs me the right way

    i feel that the unseen injury combined with nonchalance from copernicus works, but if fletcher was grinning about it then copernicus' line comes across as pointless

    If anything, I'd maybe add a flashback panel with them buying the table.

    Still good the way it is though. I like.

    I think you could just relace "When did we get a coffee table?" with "My Grandmother gave me that table."
    Or something to indicate that is was a treasured heirloom.

    actually fletcher if you want to keep the joke the way it is

    still cut the fourth panel

    and have panel 5 be fletcher through the table with copernicus talkin' bout when they got a coffee table

    then have him walk off

    and have fletcher alone saying he has glass in his spine as panel 6


    this could work too!

    Copernicus needs to be looking at the table- maybe at a broken leg so its obvious he isn't looking at Fletcher. As it is, his line and his expression/focus don't really work together

    Fletch should do a 6 panel comic thats just suggestions from other people and see how bad it turns out.

    I saw the ending coming so it didn't get a flat out laugh from me but I found it a very enjoyable plot, one of the best you've done, and I love the Ketchup Tie and the subtle hand on the chin in the final panel.

    but I'm not sure what colours to use for the background panels of the image
