If it is any consolation it always kicks me off after I win the finals. And then it removes the points I won in the previous tournament too. Oh and gives me another disc %. That's always nice.

And then it floods your email with gay porn?

anyone else having connection problems tonight? i couldnt get into a single online match earlier. i couldnt even get to the network menu, when i tried to open that menu it would pop up an error saying "lost connection to the playstation network" and drop back to the main menu immediately.

Yes, I seriously need to tech out of more throws. I haven't hit the throw happy crowd till recently and I'm noticing that part of my game lacking alot. It also doesn't help that I randomly manage to mistime a hit and neutral jump all snuggly close to my opponent and ask them to please throw me.

Spacing the wall jump is about which kick button you use to launch yourself. Admittedly I only started doing this recently because Stig was all "dude the GOOD Gens always fake me out and then do a Gekiro right after". So I was burned into learning it :P

What is this magical move? Is the flame kick that good? The straight vertical movement of the flame kick always threw me off to thinking it was that good a counter.

It's up. You looked a bit spazzy with the lightning legs (i do this too). In the last round you could juggled the ultra off those EX legs but you didn't :(

Thanks for checking. I'd like to say the spazziness is cos I just got off work, but it's just how I play. Especially against unpredictable jumpy bastards like Vega and Blanka. Half the time I don't even check if I have meter before I try EX Legs.

I've never tried to combo into Ultra outside of the trials, there's too much basic stuff I need to master first. Like throwing, block strings, FAs, dash ultras.

By the way, I checked my ranking afterwards and I was ranked over 6000 on both GP and CP... so why did it let me upload? o_O
Anyway I had a better game against a Ryu earlier than this match. One of the coolest parts was when he was at point blank range with me in the corner, he pulls out his Ultra and I manage to counter Ultra before his super hadouken even comes out :D Wish I could have uploaded that...

I just started doing c.LK c.LP c.MK after cross ups and for pokes in an attempt to reduce my spazzyness and how much EX bar I waste. Doing c.LKLPMK combo after crossup has a better chance of comboing because it comes out faster, it does 50 less dmg but it doesn't waste any bar.

If you work on always keeping a charge it's really easy to work in ultra juggles and it's easier to just throw it out whenever there is an opening.

So I'm sure someone has reported on this already

But after an absence from this game I was playing on time trials earlier today, and I noticed that on normal time trial 19 you're supposed to get infinite SC gauge and auto-heal while the CPU gets defense up

This is a damn dirty lie

Instead, the player gets blocking disabled and no bonus at all while I'm pretty sure the CPU gets attack and defense up

Although to be fair I think the CPU's blocking is disabled too

The time and survival trials are rather annoying, that is to get any satisfaction from completing your title/avatar collection.

Gief is the best way to limit ones frustration in both these "challenges".

I finally made it to a G2 finals, and had a pretty good match against a tricky Viper. I lost, but I still feel good about it. What's got me even more stoked is the guy sent me a friend request right after the match. I never know wtf to do against Viper, and now I think I've got a Viper sparring partner. *Squee*

Memorable victory of the night: took out a 13718 GP Ryu. The guy beat me in semifinals a couple games earlier, but this time I managed to calm down, play solid, and take the win.

And then I miss punishing ultras twice in the final vs. a Blanka. I would have gotten at least 67k CP off that, putting me into the top 50. Took 38k with me into that game.

A thing that helped legs spazzyness for me was tossing in the jab, so c.lk, c.lp, c.lk. It actually does like seven more damage too and is waaaaay easier on link timing (since I think c.lp is +6 on hit off the top of my head).
