Hey guys. Recently my laptop has been acting funny. It could be the new video driver I've installed, or I think maybe (but hopefully not) I overstressed the video card (pansy integrated graphics) playing games I shouldn't. But for whatever reason, some programs randomly appear sort of scrambled in places. Games like Half-Life 2, TF2, and a little on Portal, and also the Zune software, an example of which appears below.
I've already tried downgrading the driver, but not all the way back to what it used to be. Gonna try that now and see what happens. I humbly come before you seeking help. Really hoping it's something with an easy, free solution, because I don't even want to know what Dell would charge to repair this if the video card is indeed fried.
EDIT: Okay, going back to factory fresh drivers did the trick, apparently. Sorry to waste anyone's time. Kinda wish I had thought to do that first, or at the very least that I could delete the thread. Perhaps use this area for speculation as to why Intel would release a driver that made shit go crazy-nuts?
