Combining 2 game franchises. Think Gears of war meets bioshock. There have been gust star appearances in games before, some better than others (Sonic and Mario at the olimpic games), but nothing taken to the degree where people have actually been satisfied.

What are some awesome game combinations you think should happen?

Clearly someone needs to combine L4D and The Sims. Trying to live a normal family life in the midst of a worldwide zombie apocalypse. Keeping the house barricaded, waving flags on the roof to flag down supply helicopters, hunting squirrels for food, all while keeping your little simpeople happy, fed, hygienic, and well-rested.

I've got an itch to play a fighting game featuring Tron Bonne and Jill Valentine.

Really though.

Imagine a 4x, but you also have the option of taking any ship in space combat, including a single fighter, and fly it, and for ship takeovers you could take control over a marine and manually take it over.

TPS/FPS for ship takeovers a la Titan mode in 2142, FPS/TPS Battlefield-esque battles for planetary conquest, maybe urban combat too, Tie Fighter/(I don't know any naval battelship simulators) for space combat, GalCiv/SEV for Governing/Overall strategy.

With completely customizable ships/ground vehicles and an SEV style research tree.

It would take a year to play a game but it would be so good

All that customization, all that freedom to design and build your stuff exactly as you freakin' feel like designing and building it, being able to sweep across the galaxy and take over planets and sectors, and being able to just drop down into a fighter or a single battleship and just go around and do shit amongst everybody else.

I think that'd pretty muh be the ultimate 4X game right there. Make it all moddable as get with easy installment of user-created content and that'd pretty much make the game the entire fucking genre right there.
