Speaking of improvements, I fixed that bug where when an AI clicks on a radio transmission to track a guy, that guy's radio window pops open.
Since I can't think of any other pressing bugs, I'm currently working on making zombies better.

Goonstation 13 is simply incredible. Not sure if I could go back to this podunk version...

Lets trade them the pre-alpha code for Stellar Sapien in exchange for their newest goonstation, maybe that many nerds can actually finish it. <-shits a joke don't do that
That reminded me how incredible Stellar Sapien was, even in it's mega early stage.
Replacing people's eyes with testicles and their brains with machine guns never got old.
Man, even as an alpha build I enjoyed simply testing Stellar Sapien more than actually playing SS13. I seem to recall volunteering for the first human -> ape-man brain transplant.
Doing anything interesting or competently (like being a traitor) is such an ordeal in SS13, when putting on your badge or rummaging through a toolbox is like a damn Tower of Hanoi puzzle. Whereas I remember fully dressing and doing all sorts of things in Stellar Sapien with a couple of drag & drop actions, and maybe some right-clicks.
As it is I just don't have the patience or stomach for plain SS13. It just wasn't designed by someone who knows how to design.
I would jump right back into the think-tank and sprite modification if the project went into full gear. But it seems like virtually nothing has happened on the site in a year's time. I wish Obs had stayed focused, locked-down features and kept with the short-term goal of replicating Traitor mode play. A full combat/death system and some implementation of game modes and we could of had a playable alpha.

While having something resembling a streamlined interface would be pretty nifty, IIRC, SS was closer to a tower of hanoi puzzle than SS13, what with actually having to remove outer equipment layers to be able to reach into pockets and such. :P

Oh man, I played some amazing games of this way back.
So I notice an entirely map and what looks like some pretty new features and a few comments here and there implies than the grand project to re-create the game might have gone ahead after all. What are the biggest things that I'd need to know about that have changed over the original version before diving back into this?

If I had to guess (and I do), I'd guess that JDark overwrote the config files with what I've got on my copy, including my admins.txt which only has me on it. That or he decided you're a crappy admin or something. Does anyone else that used to have admin still do?

That is, no admin powers. Which makes running games particularly difficult.
