    Ugh.

When I did that part of the game last night it creeped me the fuck out. I haven't been that on edge since my first time through Dead Space, which was also an all nighter.

I hate hate the challenge popups. I just ran around Brightwall like three times so I'd have the longest distance traveled holding hands.

Beat the game and was entirely satisfied. Looking forward to the inevitable DLC, they could go a lot of different ways with things.
More stuff with Theresa, the giant fuckoff door in the Veiled Path, follow up on Reavers letter left in your room in the post-game, all kinds of stuff!

Stuff more interesting than the dye pack DLC which was leaked.

Just unlocked the quest system and I already have some questions about the magic system. Can you only have one gauntlet on at a time? I mean, can you only have say Fireball and that's it? I wish there was more to it than that. Like combining the spells. Anyway, heres to hoping.

You can unlock a chest that will allow to combine certain gauntlets at once . Limited to two obviously.

If you choose the "stay with your fiance" option, do you ever see the character again? I don't see her wondering around the world or in the orphanage she said she works at.
She says to come back in 3 days. So wait 3 days and a new quest pops up in Bowerstown Industrial that requires you to marry her.

Um, the other option. Not sure if the character exists in the game world anymore with the option I choose.

Fantastic. Apparently a quest called THE GAME is bugged. The great thing about it is you can not move forward or escape. . .and of course since there is only ONE save file - you're entirely fucked if this glitch hits you (of course I saved while on the quest - ugh).

I promised myself if I hit one gamebreaking bug I'm done - and I think I'm done.

So...One might say that you...Lost the game?

You know, I don't really like the way the dog is implemented in Fable 3. It seems like he's there because he's a necessary gameplay mechanic rather than, well, anything else.

In the introductory castle sequence, Jasper and Elliot/Elise interact with your dog, but after that, I can think of exactly twice in the entire game that anyone so much as acknowledges that he exists. And he even mysteriously disappears during the castle escape until he suddenly reappears during the cutscene with Sabine.

In Fable 2, Hannah interacted with your dog quite a bit, Theresa mentioned him a few times, Rose interacted with him, villagers interacted with him, and he seemed like he was ever actually there because he had a place in the narrative. He also seemed more reactive to the player, racing you and such while you sprinted around. He felt more like a companion whereas the dog in Fable 3 feels like this thing that follows you around and barks at things every so often.

I dunno, I liked the Dog being more understated. It let the people be more noticable. Plus III has a much bigger cast then II, so the human character need more room to shine.

I agree, the dog seems very underwhelming this time round. I notice him more for getting lost when he can't path to a dig spot, or getting in the way of dragging X person for Y reason than I do for him being my companion. I miss being able to reassure him when he got scared, or see how happy he was when I throw his ball. These days, it's a miracle if he actually chases after his damned ball.

As for the subject of bigger cast, could we please stop involving Reaver, Lionhead, simply because its Stephen Fry. Sure, I love him as much as the next person, but its getting tiring when every Kingly decision involves his counter argument, often for no real reason other than because he likes to be a bit of a git. I can understand him getting the contracts to make my decisions happen, but enough is enough.

I actually like the dog a lot more in this one than in 2. The interactions (especially when you charge Pet) just make him feel like an actual, loved pet rather than "oh you found this dog when you were a kid I guess he's going with you now or something I don't know." Also, Pancake, that might have been a glitch or something, because the dog was right next to me the whole time we were escaping the castle.

What I'm not too fond of is the relationship quests. They just seem like padding to me.

Finally, a question. I'm still pretty early in the game, but is there a way to
go to The Road to Rule whenever I want? I couldn't afford an upgrade while there the last time (mainly because of my above complaint...), so I'm curious.

On another note I finally figured out how to do the business partnership. You have to join someone else's game, and buy their houses. Then your game gets both his world's money and yours. Banking in some serious cash now!

If you head over to Driftwood you'll find a crashed ship later on. There are ship log pages and 4 chests with 5k each in them.

    In regards to this quest
Defend the bowerstone pub from the robbery
I seem to be getting bugged....
This quest is bugged, I stop the robbery but then end up stuck in the pub while the quest for some reason stays active. I can't fast travel or leave the pub, and it says I'm still in the middle of the quest. If i restart my xbox I'm taken back just before the quest, but when i start the quest the same problems arise.

    Anyone offer some help?
There should be a letter/audiolog for you to pick up that continues the quest.

They pretty much slammed the brakes through the floor of the bus, yeah. You start off around the same size as the other normal npcs and become progressively taller and more beefy, but not to the point of hulking out like in 2.

It's much less noticeable if you level stature and strength equally, as you just look proportionate for your size for the first few stars until you finally notice, hey, these people are small.
I've read the Ben finn journal, and picked up the rare book on the second level. Besides that I can't do anything else. Also, there was only one mercenary I had to fight, he says "have at him, fellas" but he's the only one I have to fight. I'm pretty sure this is a bug.

There is a note on the head thug if you walk over to him I believe or on the wall nearby telling you where the headquarters is

I'm at work but I'll check this as soon as I get home, if I seriously missed something so easy after looking around that damn pub for like an hour I'll be pissed. I have my doubts, but I'll report back once I've tried.

    I seriously think I'm at a bug.
There is only one merc that I fight, no other mercs appear. I can't find a note on the merc, or on the wall anywhere.

So for the next game, who wants to bet you'll still be King (they seem big on sticking to the bloodline of Archon for the main characters) but the advent of Parliament will have mitigated your relevance in day to day rulership, allowing you to do whatever the hell and Hero around?

They've made little secret of it being Fantasy Britain after all.
