Penny Arcade store shirts

Greetings. I'm planning to buy a bunch of t-shirts from the PA-store, but i need some help picking the right size. Im about 192cm tall and kinda skinny. Most of the time i wear size small, the only problem would be if the t-shirts are too short. I'm planning to order quite a few shirts, and it would kinda suck if they didn't fit. So if anyone here has ordered shirts from the store, would you please tell me if they are all the same length, and only differ in width, or if the size small ones are really short as well?

I tend to buy one size bigger to make up for washing machine shrinkage.

I learned this the hard way (my uncle bought me one of those cool wifi shirts from thinkgeek, and it didn't fit after 1 run through the wash)

washing with cold water will help avoid this (not to mention save you money on your electric bill) but it makes the cleaning process less reliable on tough stains. [/threadhighjack]

I've been seeing a lot of poor reviews on the PA merch site. Something about how the new shirts don't shrink evenly, and the designs are a new heavier material...

    Anyone know anything about that?

That happened to another shirt i have (not PA merch). The design felt like it was painted on top of the shirt with some plastic-like colour, instead of being coloured into the fabric itself, and the fabric sort of crumpeled around the design when the shirt shrank. Anyone around who has actually bought a shirt from the PA store who could give some info about them? Would be much appreciated :)

I've bought a few PA shirts and haven't been disappointed with the quality. As has been stated before, buying a size up is a good idea.

The type of screen printing we use isn't water-based, so it isn't meant to seep into the fabric. The types of designs we do are a better fit for this since we're a comic and most of the colors really need to pop. Water-based is generally a little washed out, and although some designs look really great with this, ours do not.

The "shrinking around a design" doesn't happen with our shirts, as that problem occurs with designs that are heat-transfered. Yes, they suck.

But going back on-topic, the shirts are pre-shrunk, but they will still shrink slightly. The only things we've found that DO NOT shrink are the Sakura and Black Mantle zip-up hoodies.

    Hope this helps!

Either I'm completely blind or it wasn't there yesterday. Either way, thanks.
