So, question about Siege. Is it set before Asgard moves to Latveria, or after the present Thor storyline plays out and it presumably moves back? Has there been any sort of word about how it slots into the Thor timeline? I seem to have missed the explanation.
Regarding the Asgardians living in Latveria, that is being explained in the current Thor book...
After Balder found out Doom is killing and experimenting on Asgardians he's rightfully going to get the fuck out of there but not before confronting Doom about it.
The storyline ends at the end of this month and the Siege Thor tie-in starts next month.

One of my favorite series, Elfquest, is only available now in B&W format. Which is a shame, because I think the colorized versions (which I own) are absolutely gorgeous.
The team needs a heavy hitter, which will be Thor. Apart from that I think Spidey will be in there which I'm not too happy about but whatever, and probably some more female characters to balance out the team look and interaction. Black Widow maybe?

Yeah, with Cap on the team and Black Widow in Iron Man II, I think we'll see her on the team.

Not pumped about Cage being, by all appearances, out. He's really come into his own as a quasi-leader of the Avengers. I agree re: Spidey, and I think that we'll also see Ms. Marvel and Black Widow on the team.
I think a sane Rob Reynolds trying desperately to atone for past fuck-ups would be great. Honestly though I don't really see it. Thor, Cap, Iron Man, Spider-Woman, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Ms Marvel is my call, maybe Mockingbird though that does make the team eight rather than the traditional seven.
Why do people like Ms. Marvel? She's just awful and she's going to ruin any Avengers team she is on. Only good thing she ever did was give Rogue her powers for the 90's.
I liked her better in House of M. Her series started off pushing her towards being more like that, but quickly went off the rails. It had Nextwave personality-Aaron Stack in it though, so was fun for a time.

Also she's a heavy hitter with energy powers and a cool costume so she'll look good on the page, and I really think that marvel should promote their female superheroes. Maybe if she gets some quality Avengers time and they give her a decent writer she could pull off a solo series one day and that would be great. I want to like her, it's just that her ongoing was a horrible mess.
