All girl teams are never any good. The writer just does "girl talk" which is either unrealistic if the writer is male or boring if the writer is female (because honestly girls talk about boring stuff. I guess to girls guys talk about boring stuff too).
Now, you know what team they need to make? A Mystic Avengers team.
Iron Fist
Wiccan
Dr Strange
Valkyrie
Captain Britain
Trauma
Thor Girl
Awesome team. Ass kickers, spell casters, gods, kung fu masters and a whole lot of fun.
I'd rather see her in a well written book of her own. I'm telling you man, she's got potential, and it's wasted.
Ms. Marvel is one of my favorites, and her book seriously sucked, especially towards the end. If they gave her a decent writer and an artist that wasn't all OMG ANIME KAWAII I would be thankful. That whole spy story arc was retarded, and the "save the babies" resurrection was equally retarded. The first few stories in her series were good, and if they would've kept that rolling, it might still be going. She has strength, absorbs energy, has a military background that provides battle strategy and tactics, just to name a few. She's a great team leader, Mighty Avengers proved that. If she's not in the Avengers Academy books in some way, I'll be surprised.

She'll fall off the wagon again and become this superhero who flys around drunk, crashing into buildings and blasting random people (kind of like that Deapool/Great Lakes Avengers one-shot).
This way we have a "Heroic Intervention Age"

Superhero Rehab would be the best show ever. Iron Man & Ms. Marvel could be the drunks, Hawkeye could be there for sex addiction, Hank Pym could be there for anger issues, the list goes on forever.
I would like to see Ms. Marvel get completely smashed and become a total whore, if only to see how many people she would kill by sexing them too hard.

The best issue I read with Carol's drinking problem was an Iron Man issue from right after Heroes Return (in or around the "Live Kree or Die" story), and she's just nasty and angry and acting like Tony was such a puss for not being able to control his liquor and fight at the same time. Tony's trying to tell her he knows exactly what she's going through and she's all "the fuck you think you are? I'm on the Avengers, Iron Man, I'm bulletproof"
Maybe they make an all girl team called the Avengehers. It's no better a name than Her-oes.
I'm saddened to say that I originally didn't get the Her-Oes title. I was trying to figure out what their orgasms had to do with being heroes before I finally saw someone mention the "her" part.
She won't die. She already died and nobody gave a shit. If she dies then that's just fucking terrible, a shitty series with a shitty ending destroying what could have been a really cool female solo character.

I never saw that movie, but wasn't there a lady Hancock (Charlize Theron)?
Hey, Carol could become Marvel's first scientologist superhero.

Since the foreshadowing occurred in Cap's book, maybe AIM will finally do something impressive. They're been around for pretty much forever, but never leave much of an impression, MODOK aside.
AIM are good for producing random mooks to beat down. Eve Necker in Nova worked for AIM and it was a fun plot point. Apart from that, I agree, they've had little impact. Making an internation terrorist organisation actually terrifying would be cool.

Ted Sallis's wife was a part of AIM, I think that's a decent impact
So the Aintitcool comic feature reviewed the Secret Wars 2 omnibus of all things and actually enjoyed it. He says it reads much better with all the tie-ins. I still think my LCS has a copy but I refuse to pay anything above $50 for it.
I cant put much of a meaning on Tony's Dream but Cap's vision is quiet interesting.
One detail makes me think though. We see Thor fallen and obiviously someone else picking up the mjolnir. Could it be Cap himself? Is he not becoming Captain America for once because he somehow needs to be there to raise mjolnir in future?

Also, Bucky is
back to being Winter Soldier
, which jumped out at me.
It's because Bucky is Winter Soldier in the vision that Steve decides to forego the Captain America mantle. If he can change one detail of the vision, then he might also be able to change Bucky's fate, if not everything he foresaw.

So you're saying that the most likely outcome is that she will die?

I'm saying that I don't think Ms Marvel will die (though I could be wrong) as there is no real reason for a writer to kill her off. I'm also saying that if I am wrong and she does die it will be a real shame as she's a cool character who will have her shitty series end in a shitty way.

Rage would engulf me if she died at the end of her series. It wouldn't make any sense at all.

She's such a worthless character, I really hope they don't waste a slot on her.
No such thing as a worthless character.
I know he is not from Marvel but I defy anyone to claim that Terry Long was anything but a worthless character. Black Lantern Terry Long, maybe, is acceptable in a creepy over the top way but non-dead Terry is beyond redemption.
As for Ms. Marvel, I hope -and doubt- she will die but I always had a problem with Marvel trying to turn her into their first real female A-list hero. Nothing personal against her but I never want to be in a position to have to explain that whole messed up situation with her son/lover/rapist to anyone so I really would rather she not become a more recognizable figure

It's not easy being the only Hank Pym fan in the world ...
I never understood why she was selected to be the premier female hero. She has a classic feel that evokes Superman and suggests she should be in the big leagues, but that same quality also gives her a kind of blandness that is hard to shake, even when you give her a cool supporting cast.
Personally, I prefer She-Hulk. I feel her stories have a style of their own that stands out among all the male-centric books, making her more worthy of a major push.
Initially, I thought Spider-Woman would be a good candidate to try to raise in profile as her crappy cartoon has made her more recognizable to a wider audience (I definitely could identify her long before I started reading comics).
Unfortunately, I think it would be a mistake to try to crate someone who could easily be argued is a female version of an existing male character. Same problem with She-Hulk. I know they actually have quite different personalties and back stories from their male counterparts but from an outsiders perspective I think they would seem like cheap knock-offs.
Black Widow may be an excellent choice for although spy-superheroes are not that uncommon, they are not that well known to the general public (Nick Fury excluded). If Black Widow could be raised in profile to the quintessential spy-superhero rather than merely the much needed premiere Marvel female superhero, I think it would lead to far better stories.
Iron Man 2 coming out wouldn't hurt her chances either ...

I'm thinking perhaps Blue Marvel. Nerd favourite, BMB likes to pull in obscure characters to play with, it kind of works out., don't you think?
Lol, if that link is true then Tony Stark has doomed the MU once again.
