You are correct, as I've already moved it to the front of my Netflix queue.
Followup question: Which of the following bullshit movies I've been sitting on for the last 4 months should I actually finish watchin so I can actually receive this fine film in return:
Doctor Zhivago
The Man Who Would be King
The Yakuza Papers: Battles Without Honor & Humanity Vol. 1
I'm gonna have to say it. Blade runner was kind of... Meh.
And don't say it's because I don't understand the philosophical concepts behind the film; we studied the hell out of Blade Runner in year 12.
That's cool, I know the movie isn't for everyone. I just love the hell out of its slow pace, cinematography, futuristic world they created (so fucking life like), the philosophical aspect, the characters (though Sean what's her name grates my nerves a bit... she's too robotic at the start and the "love scene" is really fucking weird because neither Harrison nor she got along on set and that definately translated to the screen...)
My other sci-fi favourites are Sunshine and Dark City.

Ridley Scott has always been fairly open about the fact that he knew Sean Young couldn't act for shit before he hired her. It was just that she looked perfect for the role that he pursued her so hard. I actually think the robotic stinted love scene kinda adds to the whole creepiness of their relationship.
EDIT: Yes Dark City, I've picked that off the shelves about 100 times because it looks interesting as fuck but I've never heard anything about it, so I always end up putting it back. So it's good then I take it?

@mustang: yeah, it definately adds to the creepyness... i just don't think it should be creepy given the overall theme of the movie. If it followed the book's theme more closely then I don't think I would have a problem with it.
Dark city's a pretty amazing movie. For all its quick cut stylishness (it used to have the record for most cuts and it might still have it), the movie never falls into the "ok, what the fuck just happened?" problem so many other movies have (quantum of solace, I'm looking at you).
Also, "Do you know the way to shell beach?" is such a great line/ metaphor.

Dark City is weird because Kiefer Sutherland is in it and he doesn't beat the shit out of a single terrorist.
Man, oh man, Theres nothing better than an Iced Coffee and Kit-Kat for lunch.
I always feel guilty about the chocolate and flavoured milk lunch. I know it's wrong and I shouldn't be doing it but I do it anyway and then spend afternoon wishing I hadn't.

I have a love hate relationship with Kiefer, I think it's all the freaky fan girls that still piss on about the lost boys. They scare the shit out of me.

Dr. Zhivago is poop from a butt (actually, I haven't seen it)
Also haven't seen The Yakuza Papers
but
The Man Who Would Be King has Michael Caine and Sean Connery in it

What the hell man. Like it or not like it, you at least have to see it. It's one of those movies.

I watched Kiefer Sutherland before he was a badass.
More likely he was a badass all along, but he made Dark City to throw the terrorists off.

Then truly, he is a great actor.
