    Duke Nukem never pretended it was anything more than what it was. I can respect that.

    Also, Redneck Rampage is far lower humor, and guess which one is getting a revival by a huge name company?

    I don't understand how games can really grow beyond that anyways (as a whole). Look at film, it's been around for along time and every now and then some stupid low ball slapstick or some gratuitous action movie comes out and does pretty well. Because there will probably always be an audience for that.

    Neither? The Redneck Rampage stuff has pretty much been attributed to the shuffling post activision-vivindi merger.

    Well, he is kinda right, Epic is pretty much console shit now.

    Except for UT3 I guess but that game wasnt that great.
