what the hell is starfire doing in star trek

I dunno but I bet she's gonna fuck somebody

    I bet you're right!

She may or may not have something to do with 'an ancient evil stalking the corridors of the Enterprise.' And also with ' a force that began with possession and madness, and ended in murder!'

Also I'm betting she's changed her name from Koriand'r to something equally awful.

Just when you thought a star trek thread on an internet forum for a comic mostly based on video games couldn't get any nerdier here we are

Is that said due to the Dragonball analogy or the old book?
That question just proves the point!

Not nearly heavy-handed enough. Especially since the issue that most brings up the question (what happens to TOS-through-Nemesis), isn't explained at all by Uhura's explanation.

I had a Star Trek book once. It was the one that told Sulu, Scotty, Kirk and Chekovs Kobayashi Maru scenarios. It was entertaining.

    Thank you SabreMau

I haven't seen any of the orignal series episodes so I didn't know they were copying the original character's voice

I think I will pretend filipino's explanation is correct so that I don't have to wince every time Chekov talks

Following the events of the film Star Trek: First Contact, the Enterprise, while returning to the 24th century, is diverted to the 20th century of a parallel universe by a powerful time traveler called Kang the Conquerer. There, they encounter the super-powered mutants named the X-Men, and assist them in fighting Kang's plan to remake the timelines of every known universe. If these two groups of heroes fail – history itself will change forever!

i like that for that comic they didn't make up a time traveling supervillain that was cocking up time for selfish reasons

nope, that's kang's entire concept, so why not use kang?

    so they use kang

i prefer when comics do that

why make up a new character to fulfill exactly the role filled by an existing character

    just look hard enough, man

Oh man, I remember the Great Starship race, it's been forever since i read it.

Death Count is probably my favorite Trek book.

Basically, my childhood was all about going to the library and reading every pulp Trek, Star Wars, X-Files, whatnot, paperbacks.
