Cable Box (Digital Receiver) doesn't come off from stand by mode.

Guys,
I am having problems with my cable box (Motorola DCH6200). ........unable to switch it back on from standby mode.
Let me explain here.....Once i switch off the cable box it goes to stand by mode ... after couple of hours when i try to turn it on it does not work...it stays in STAND BY mode only. I have to unplug the power cable every time and plug it back to make it work......once i put the power cable back on it resets itself and it comes back on. This is a painful process every time i want to watch the cable.
Any help/suggestions are seriously appreciated. Thanks in Advance.
