I believe that Valve said they wanted to make a similar series of movies for Left 4 Dead some time. I wouldn't be surprised to see those start once the TF2 videos are complete.
And really, I'm just happy that they're completing the entire set for TF2, I can't honestly ask for more. Valve responded to the popularity of Meet the Heavy (which was just supposed to be a one-off facial animation marketing video) by turning it into an entire series of really stellar quality, just for the fans, for free. Nobody would have batted an eyelid if they had never bothered to do anything like that ever again. It's extra resources devoted to something that's completely ancillary to work on the main game, and yet they did it anyway.

I still can't believe all the content updates TF2 has and will get for free. I mean, holy shit, it's just one game in the orange box too.
I've gotten far more TF2 content updates that I actually cared about, than content updates I cared about in WoW, a game I had to pay full price for and a monthly fee.

I love killing medics with my axe, they have never experienced real combat so its easy

Ok so, for the people who played it last night. What was the take on the Public Arena Server?
I'm impressed. I really like how people are almost always on, despite some of them not being PA people. It makes those early morning urges more bearable. Another plus is that when PA people see somebody in server, they're much more likely to join, so we ended up with a great deal of PA folk, and a smaller number of pubbers, which was nice.
