Desk and Chair

I'm looking to buy a new desk and chair. My current setup sucks(I'd show it, but I'm work and don't have pics with me). The desk will be in a corner, so I'm looking at L-Desks. The one I'm currently looking at is: http://www.staples.com/office/supplies/p4_Bush-Tuxedo-L-Desk-Mocha-Cherry_121838_Business_Supplies_2_10051_SC2:CG33:CL161508:SS1021922

I'd like to buy in a brick in mortar store, not online if possible so I can see it in person. Budget is around $300 or so. I'll have two 24" monitors on it, so have to make sure it's big enough for that at least, but preferably there'd be room for more stuff too, like a printer or laptop. I'm looking for a wood desk, preferably dark wood to match the furniture already in the room.

I'm also looking for a nice chair, and I have no clue about that. Budget is around $100 for it preferably, and anything goes as long as it's comfortable for long gaming sessions.

Any recommendations? Thanks.

in the same boat as you, trying to set up the home office.
    some idea links:

and there is a thread going in the tech forum here.

personally, i'm going to skimp on the desk and invest in a chair. a desk just holds stuff. the chair is going to be cradling your ass and your back, and can lead to significant pains in both. esp $100 chairs. i mean, you don't necessarily have to run out and buy an aeron/steelcase/humanscale, but if possible.

and while ikea's stuff is generally meh to good, their office stuff is good to really good. if you have one locally, they also have a scratch and dent section. i picked up my corner ikea desk for about $100. otherwise, two file cabinets and a recycled door. already has the wire passthrough cutout...
