3 red lights, call for support, flagged for tampering?

I hate making new threads, but I'm pretty upset right now, and was wondering if anybody has ever had this problem and how they resolved it. I guess in 48 hours or so I"ll get a call back from someone at a higher level. I have never modded my console, put in one of those larger hard drives. Heck, when I first got he 3 red lights, I was going to go buy either a 60gb model or a 120 and sell this one to my lil brother for cheap. But now I"m being told the consoles serial number has been flagged. This is the 3rd time I've had the red lights, the last time less than a year ago, so its a refurbished console from Microsoft.

Most people that come in here, will probably assume I did use some modifications of some form, and while I've thought about the hard drive, I have never done so. Heck, at first they told me I was banned from xbox live.... I was playing this morning and logged in while I was on the phone.

So, anybody ever had this problem with microsoft support and resolved it?

Just escalate, stand your ground, and offer to send the console in out of your pocket so they can see that it hasn't been tampered with (they can check the security seal) with your own money as long as they agree to pay up if you turn out to not have done anything.

Perhaps email Major Nelson or GamerScore Blog, sometimes they can help too.

Chances are you've pissed someone off on XBL somehow and they've exacted their revenge by reporting you for cheating/tampering/etc. You should be easily able to prove your innocence.
