    Both. One team of each.

It's basically a Starcraft FPS game. You even have a guy that plays it like a RTS, building upgrade towers and stuff.

Both, actually. It's a sequel to a mod for the original half-life. It's an online team versus team game that combines RTS and FPS.

Basically, if you are playing humans, you have one guy who sits in the commanders seat and he can summon in things like medkits, turrets, ammo dispensers and give orders to the players using an RTS style map. All of his 'units' however are people playing an FPS, basically. You can also play as the aliens. They also have resources and the like but they don't have a commander type player. The aliens start off as these small zergling like creatures and can pay resources to evolve into different forms such as builders or that huge thing you saw in the trailer. The aliens go around infecting the map to get more resources, if my memory serves. First side to destroy the other team's base wins. Basically.

Awesome enough to convince rad to move there. Mostly because of Pike Place. Pike Place is everything we want out of food.

Edit: She'd also gotten a couple awesome views of Ranier from Puyallup.

And John Hodgmans audio book is decent enough when he's not just spouting off lists. But it also has the benefit of having Jonathan Coulton on it, and every part with him was gold.
