MBP Bootcamp problems

YerMumYerMum Registered User regular
I've got windows xp running in bootcamp on my MBP and I've got a couple of issues. The sound stopped working a couple of days ago, and at the same time the function keys stopped acting as controls for volume, brightness etc. I think it's a driver problem, as under OSX everything's fine, however I've not changed the drivers since installing XP - anyone had to deal with this type of issue before?

Are you also using your bootcamp partition under anything like parallels or vmware?

No, just bootcamp, although I kept it to 32gig so can access the files

Although the partition size has nothing to do with your issue, I'm curious as to why you think 32GB is a limit for you to access the files.

On your issue, Windows update might have updated some drivers. I'd try a system restore in windows back about a week ago to see if it works.
