So i've got a gym pass, and no idea how to use it.
I went to the gym the other day, i'm unemployed for a few more weeks and am bored silly, so i figured getting back in shape would be fun.
The problem being that i have no fucking clue what i'm doing. Is there a website that iwll recommend a workout regime along with pictures of how to do each exercise that they're talking about?
I've been into pushups and shit all my life, but freeweights are scary and compicated.
www.bodybuilding.com They got a database of exercises with videos which are great at showing you how to do exercises
www.t-nation.com This is the site that'll teach you how to properly put together an exercise program. I highly reccomend you read this site over. They have a few articles for beginners on getting started.
Those are the "how". You need to think about the "why". What are your goals?
UNIVERSAL LIFTING TIP #1
you are lifting to get strong, not lifting to lift. No matter what, warm up and lift with proper form. No time to warm up? no time to work out. Can't lift with proper form? back off the weight.

I find it easier to google '[exercise name] + site:exrx.net'.
