The Box Jellyfish. The powerful neurotoxic venom contained in its stingers can kill a full grown human in four minutes. The venom attacks the nervous system, causing heart failure, or more commonly, drowning as the swimming victim loses motor functions.
Unlike most jellyfish, it actively hunts its prey and can be quite aggressive. It can reach speeds of up to 3.5 knots (1.8 meters/second)
There have been 5,568 recorded deaths due to Box Jellyfish stings since 1954, placing it at the top of the deadly creature list.

edit: It was in a documentary about the irukandji box jellyfish. It said box jellyfish have 5 very primitive eyes.
Also the irukandji is fucking crazy.
