Okay, so I don't have a car and get around pretty well because I live in downtown Seattle, this has made me pretty blind however to pretty much anything not in Seattle.
The girl I'm currently dating lives further out east, but thanks to the fact that she generally just hangs out with friends at their houses doesn't know many areas either.
So, H/A help me here by giving me some locations of some good cafes/restaurants/other interesting shit to do/places to hang out in the Bellevue area.
Note: this is not a "I don't understand how dates work help me figure out girls" thread, I can do that, I just don't know the areas outside of Seattle very well.
There's the very nice park adjacent to Bellevue Square. You can feed ducks, but not too many ducks. You will be swarmed.
There's the doll museum which I have never been to but is apparently pretty fantastic. If you like dolls. You probably don't!
Valve is in Bellevue but I don't think you can go there for a date. That would be sweet though.
Lincoln Square Cinemas is a nice movie theater. The "IMAX" screen they have is not real IMAX though. Do not buy in to the advertising!
What the Pho is an awesome restaurant if you like Pho. The atmosphere isn't so hot but it's delicious food. Not too expensive either.
If you want fancy fancy fancy restaurants, Bis on Main is good. Otherwise, Gilbert's Deli is a good deli. Good by Seattle standards, I mean. I have heard good things about Santorini's* from Porkfry, who is in some Penny Arcade comics. If you like gyros, check them out. That too is apparently not a fancy restaurant at all, though.
I hate the place, but The Melting Pot in downtown is a fondue place which is sort of expensive but a heck of an experience, which is nice for a date.
If I remember anything else (probably will) I SHALL RETURN.
What types of transportation do you have available? I'm guessing you're taking the bus over and she has a car? And what's your budget? First piece of advice is just go downtown, but if you want to be on the eastside :
The Bellevue Art Museum is suprisingly decent, though obviously not SAM level. They also have free admission on the first Friday of the month.
If you want high end steak, Daniel's Broiler is on the north end of town and definitely worth the money once a year or so.
For bowling, Lucky Strike is decent and nicely located, though not really my thing.
For beer + food before or after a movie either Rock Bottom or Tap House are both right next to Lincoln Square Cinemas.
Bellevue Square has a Cheesecake Factory, which is always a solid date place.
She's very much a girly girl with a weird little mix of nerdy thrown in, she likes movies and video games, not as much as she enjoys shopping and those kinds of activities though.
And yeah, bus for me but car for her, although for this date we're leaving right after a class we share so we're going in her car.
My budget is pretty much whatever, as long as it's not super expensive.
As far as restaurants go I have to plug Coho Cafe.
kinda upscale casual, I think they have an awesome menu and a great atmosphere
(though this information may be dated, I haven't made my way out there since I moved to Everett about a year ago)

Really? I've been there a couple times and haven't been impressed. The menu has some nice variety and seems to change a lot but the actual food is overpriced and pretty hit or miss. They stay open late, have a full bar, and are right next to Bella Bottega so it's not a bad destination per se, I just wouldn't go expecting much more than an upscale family restaurant.
Girls love crepes. And french food. Check out Cafe Pirouette

No one's mentioned The Parlor but it's a up-scale place to play pool. They had small rooms in the back that were kinda like a club, if she likes dancing. And I see ads now saying they have entertainment like comics.

Someone else mentioned Bellevue Downtown Park. It's huge, good for feeding ducks and people watching. On weekends people congregate and have little dog parties. Me and my girlfriend like to watch and I like to pet the dogs and get them riled up. You know, throw a ball so the little dogs crash into each other and fight to bring it back to me. Very entertaining. Maybe she's into that?
Meydenbauer Park is a smaller, quieter park, down by the water. Very chill and relaxing, you can watch boats go by and just sun tan or throw a frisbee.
If you're looking to do something a little different, you could try looking for geocaches (http://www.geocaching.com/). People hide film canisters or boxes around the city and mark down their coordinates. You go find them and feel like an explorer. Gives you two a chance to walk around at your own pace, chat, and still have a goal to your wanderings. Not for everyone, but figured I'd mention it with the good weather lately and all.

Hmm.
I can't say I'm surprised.
Back when I was a regular I knew the management but it changed hands right before I stopped going.. and the new management was definitely all about the bottom line. that's a damn shame. 3 years ago when this restaurant was brand new it was one of my favorites.
Topolino's is another one for good food, but not for atmosphere. It's a little (almost literal) hole in the wall in downtown Bellevue. A bunch of Valve guys came in while I was there one day (I say this as an indicator of quality!).
