iTunes suckery

I have bought several songs/audiobooks through iTunes on an old work computer I no longer can access.

Now when I log into my account, which is "Authorized", I can't access anything I ever bought on any other machine.

Is there some magic I'm missing out on, or did I just throw my money away all this time thinking I'd actually be able to download this stuff on more than one computer after paying for it?

this is a discord of mostly PA people interested in fighting games: https://discord.gg/DZWa97d5rz

we also talk about other random shit and clown upon each other

You can only download the files once, you're supposed to transfer the individual files.

You have to ask Apple very nicely if you want to download again.

Just get someone who is able to access it to throw the files on a thumb drive or something. Apple's terms of use are very clear that you get one download per item, unless the download doesn't work properly or other extenuating circumstances. Replacement is at their discretion, but they are usually pretty nice about it. They also tell you to back up your shit every time you download something (its a pop-up message, can't not see it) until you check the box that says you understand, but I don't really want to click the button to easily back up my shit.

So, not iTunes suckery, just you done did it wrong ;)
