The only huntsman sniper I've seen consistently be a top scorer and MVP is iowa.
Personally I don't really enjoy the huntsman so far, it just seems like even if you get good with it there's no point; I can still snipe just fine at mid-range with rifle, which is supposed to be the huntsman's forte.

i suck with the rifle. The quicker charge time on the hunstman puts it over the top for me. you can dish out so much more damage just due to that.
it's been pretty easy for me to transfer grenade leading to leading hunstman shots. I play sniper a lot like how I play demo, actually.
Today a soldier rocket jumped and looked down at me and I shot him out of the sky with his rocket.
It wasn't tyrannus though.
Am I cool now?
I killed someone with their own critical pipe on accident once.
And speaking of tyannus, one time I pulled out my axe when I saw him running at me. He jumped, jumped off a wall, landed, fired three rockets at me and said "OH WAIT WHOOPS". What a dick.
Has anybody else started picking off a ridiculous number of fully cloaked spies with the huntsman? This was sort of a rare occurrence for me with the sniper rifle, but I haven't had a match go by lately where I haven't hit at least one.
Man earlier tonight I was ready to sit down and write such an angry letter. But now that I give the issue more thought, all I feel the need to say is this:
When I go Medic, people thank me. People smile. I make people happy, because I let them keep playing. That is all the justification I need. That is why Medic will always be my most played.

Really? Most of the PA TF2 crowd seems either pretty chill or pretty silent.
There were a couple people on one game I was on today who were telling the snipers on our team to switch to the rifle if they couldn't counter-snipe with the bow. That pissed me off a little bit.
"That makes sense! Fuck my enjoyment of the game, I'll just start up Flippy_D's Point and Click Adventure so you can win the video game. Thanks for letting me know what a dick I'm being by not bringing my A game to a casual server."

It can get rather frustrating when the team you are on is just not trying. I think that, more than anything is the downfall of far too many teams. You have a few people just dicking around, a few too many Spy/Snipers, no engies or medics, or any number of things.
