My favorite back-in-the-day moment was when I "accidentally" pulled the two entrance molten giants with my Eye of Kilrogg after sitting around for an hour waiting for the rest of the raid to muster, then come back from yet another afk/smokebreak.
In my time as a warlock, I managed to stealth-pull every boss in Molten Core except Geddon with Eyes of Kilrogg. I don't think they ever found out it was me.
That's what they get for standing around for half an hour explaining the fight twenty times.
I accidentally pulled aggro on Onyxia with a Gnomish Battle Chicken (which is uncontrollable and unrecallable once unleashed) and got the east side flame-breathed. Didn't think the chicken was that threatening.

The buff it gave would had a weird threat componet. I'm half convinced they meant for it to tank after squawking.

Too bad you couldn't eat it afterwards. Tasty, crispy chicken there.

Tier 9 ugly.
Also, laffo if the only discernible difference for the plate wearers can be covered up by a tabard.
Yeah just saw some of the T9 sets from Blizz. Quite ugly I must say. They don't look like alliance or horde armour. They're getting pretty lazy with armour now.
The problem is the T9 looks exactly the same across the armor classes. They're just re-skinned for the classes of the armor type. I really hope this gets updated.

Yeah I'm actually a little upset.
Are the art teams totally phoning this patch in or what?
Did they exhaust themselves making new cat models?

It's not that bad. We got through the AQ40 era with sanity intact:

[terrible armor sets]
This was exactly what I thought when I saw tier 9.
My thinking: Classic and Wrath both had 3 tiers and one half tier. Classic had tiers 1-3 and the AQ40 sets between tiers 2 and 3. BC had tier 4-6 and then expanded tier 6 sets in Sunwell. Tier 9 looks basically like Wrath's half teir.
Anyone interested in sending me a scroll of resurrection? As a fair warning this is only really to decide whether or not I even want to come back, so you may not get the free month if I decide not to go through with it.

Also, not only do I like the Tier 9 sets, I wish they'd continue with this style of armor making for Tier sets in the future, and for Arena sets too. I don't want to look the same as those filthy Horde hunters, y'know.
I have no idea how we got anything done with trees like that
edit: Though Druids have come a nice full circle: we used to have two 31-point talents, and nowadays we have two 51-point talents. Yay.
You specced innervate so the priests could spam more flash heals, while you spammed rank 4 healing touch because it was the best trade off of cast speed vs cost.
Also healing strategies, you had 2 teams of 5 healers for the tank with leaders yelling out rotations, when one team did nothing and regenned mana and the other took over healing.
Atleast now cat scales and shit, I'm fine with two 51 point talents because I can push competitive DPS with them. Back in vanilla shred had no scaling and you couldn't ever use it because no maim, pounce had a requirement of you being behind the target, shred cost 45 energy, no OOC and claw DPS was lol. Also rake was shit, now it's the shit.

For once I am glad that I will not see that content or get that armour

It's also impressive to make a hunter tier uglier than all previous ones.

I wanted the WoW equivalents of American flag clothing.
All busy working on icecrown.

The Horde stuff looks Horde-y to me. They all have that weird reddish horny look that you usually see on Horde stuff.
As for Alliance... I dunno, more lions I guess?
I mean, come on. This is gear that surpasses gear used to slay gods, yet we can see the stitchings in the leather? Really?
Honestly it looks more like level 60 pvp gear than anything else.

Your shoulders were on fire.
I'm still bitter that the hacker baleeted my hunter's Warlord gear.
They should probably have a doctor look at that...
They damn well better be.

They gave it to druids later. Go check it:
http://www.wowwiki.com/Lacerate_%28Hunter%29
Check the other horrible horrible talent trees:
http://wowvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Talents.View.Beta&category_select_id=6&build=b4 (to check other builds, select a class then hit Go before it loads otherwise you won't see any talent trees.)
Go wonder why the prime druid levelling spec was RESTO. Ding lvl 10, ask in guild chat what to spec as, they told me to max imp. Motw.
So terrible.
