My favorite back-in-the-day moment was when I "accidentally" pulled the two entrance molten giants with my Eye of Kilrogg after sitting around for an hour waiting for the rest of the raid to muster, then come back from yet another afk/smokebreak.

In my time as a warlock, I managed to stealth-pull every boss in Molten Core except Geddon with Eyes of Kilrogg. I don't think they ever found out it was me.

That's what they get for standing around for half an hour explaining the fight twenty times.

I accidentally pulled aggro on Onyxia with a Gnomish Battle Chicken (which is uncontrollable and unrecallable once unleashed) and got the east side flame-breathed. Didn't think the chicken was that threatening.

The buff it gave would had a weird threat componet. I'm half convinced they meant for it to tank after squawking.

It really seems to me that they squandered the opportunity that faction specific armour presents.

It's also impressive to make a hunter tier uglier than all previous ones.

The problem is the T9 looks exactly the same across the armor classes. They're just re-skinned for the classes of the armor type. I really hope this gets updated.

Nope, blues have explicitly stated that's the intent. These might not be the 100% final art, but instead of making 10 sets of armor they're making 8.

The Horde stuff looks Horde-y to me. They all have that weird reddish horny look that you usually see on Horde stuff.

While the horde rogue t9 is a billion times better than T8 it is still pretty lame.

I mean, come on. This is gear that surpasses gear used to slay gods, yet we can see the stitchings in the leather? Really?

Honestly it looks more like level 60 pvp gear than anything else.

    [terrible armor sets]

This was exactly what I thought when I saw tier 9.

My thinking: Classic and Wrath both had 3 tiers and one half tier. Classic had tiers 1-3 and the AQ40 sets between tiers 2 and 3. BC had tier 4-6 and then expanded tier 6 sets in Sunwell. Tier 9 looks basically like Wrath's half teir.

You specced innervate so the priests could spam more flash heals, while you spammed rank 4 healing touch because it was the best trade off of cast speed vs cost.

Also healing strategies, you had 2 teams of 5 healers for the tank with leaders yelling out rotations, when one team did nothing and regenned mana and the other took over healing.

Atleast now cat scales and shit, I'm fine with two 51 point talents because I can push competitive DPS with them. Back in vanilla shred had no scaling and you couldn't ever use it because no maim, pounce had a requirement of you being behind the target, shred cost 45 energy, no OOC and claw DPS was lol. Also rake was shit, now it's the shit.
