I like Kaare Andrews, but I really hope he doesn't do the CGI backgrounds like he used in Spider-Man: Reign. I don't necessarily mind them when they look good, but there were some weird screw-ups with simple perspective in that book. People not being in proportion to windows on buildings, and so on.
But I like how he draws figures, and the guy has a lot of versatility in style.
I'm really not sure why anyone would team Spidey and Wolverine in a monthly book though, other than that they're two of Marvel's most famous characters. Seems weird.

What? They're a classic team-up.
It says it's "in-continuity" but I would rather they do the (later) Superman/Batman thing and just have stories starring the characters, regardless of how much sense it makes
Wolverine and Spider-Man do play off of each other pretty well, but Wolverine's tendency to kill people makes them an odd team to base a series around. Human Torch/Spider-Man would have been better, if less marketable.
They've teamed up before, but I don't really see them as being one of the notable buddy pairs.
They are kind of a play on the classic formula of wisecracking rookie and grumpy old man though, so there's that. I just don't know if their chemistry would be something that's entertaining on a monthly basis.

Well, it's being drawn by Adam Kubert, so you don't have to worry about the whole "monthly" thing

It's kind of funny in that sense. Spider-Man freaks out because Clint wants to go kill Osborn (and does and would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for that pesky SHIELD tech), yet he hangs out with Wolverine who will probably kill 3 people in the first issue alone and not make a big deal about it.
I do like Furu's point about Marvel not understanding what to do with Astonishing X-Men now, so their solution is to make it a line of books and then put slow creators on them. Andrews isn't timely either, and coupled with Ellis, it will be a finger pointing Mexican Standoff when it comes to delays.

I second Drakeon's excitement for the Jason Aaron Astonishing book. Considering how well he wrote Spidey in Wolverine #74 I can't wait to see what he does with this title.

Adam Kubert is too busy doing......something. Since he signed up with Marvel again last year, he did that Spidey-Man: The List one-shot and two half issues of Wolverine, and some covers. Will he do more at Marvel by the time his contract is up than he did with DC?
I liked Kaare Andrews earlier Marvel work (his Hulk covers, his Ultimate X-Men issues), but that art looks weird and not something to welcome new readers with (does anyone other than a porn star wear tops like what Storm is wearing?).
There is no way in Hell Emma, especially Emma written by Ellis, would have an ass that big.
No way. Never. The universe will die of heat death first.
You guys are all missing out on how badass Beast looks in that picture. Beast should be a fucking monster, but that seems to get lost most of the time.
They kind of imply that means there might be a new executive editor in Rich Johnston's talk with them. I am cautiously optimistic, if only for the possibility of a bunch of new projects being greenlit.

Certainly Lee doesn’t believe there’s a legal issue at stake here, he puts it down to DC continuing to research possibilities and not yet being happy with the recreated comic book experience online. But indicating that this may be changing.
This, combined with the multiple weekly comics coming out (Brightest Day, JL:Generation Lost, DCU Online, that Superman event that's all in one month) makes me think they're going to be doing something digital pretty soon.

I like how Armor is drawn in that pic.

I'm not convinced it's actual tracing, but it's obvious he's borrowed very heavily in terms of poses and character designs, even dialogue from the look of it.

Two men enter. One man leaves.
Eventually.
It kind of looks like he's trying to give Spider-man a flying bearhug
also someone should post that picture of Wolverine and Spider-man brofisting.
Not necessarily. I got from the whole thing that it may be set during World's Most Wanted.

But mohawk Storm is cool, so i forgive her for not eating.

And Beast has 5 fingers, not 4 (he also looks more like bouncy stars and garters Beast than Morrison Professor Beast).

The entirety of Emma is awful, how about that? There is really no redeeming aspect of her in that drawing.
look, there is nothing wrong with disproportionately gigantic tits. everyone's focusing on her ass cause it looks weird.
I think Sir Mix-a-lot would approve of Emma's ass. Who are you to question Sir Mix-a-lot?
And Jim Lee and Dan DiDio are co-publishers.

This is good news. I have zero opinion on Simmons, but plagiarism is awful.

Especially when it's something like Bleach that has a pretty distinctive style
I read it, because I'm cool like that. But I've never read Bleach.
No, I'm not going to scan it for you.
