Close the doors, put out the light
You know they won't be home tonight
The snow falls hard and don't you know
The winds of Thor are blowing cold
They're wearing steel that's bright and true
They carry news that must get through
They choose the path where no-one goes
They hold no quarter,
They hold no quarter.
Pyros are good at close & medium-range combat in close quarters.
Hallways & such.
Can they shoot upwardly?
How well ranged are the concussion blasts? Is the backburner worth sacrificing that ability for?
Yes, relatively short, and depends on how you play. I tend to be a suicide run pyro when I play them, so if I can catch somebody's back for a moment they're screwed. If you're more, say, thoughtful and careful about your play then you'll be better suited with the regular flamethrower.
Different situations call for different weapons sometimes, though. Pushing the cart? Regular flamethrower. Defending the cart? Backburner.

Live at Leeds is pretty great.
Or are we working from different meanings?
